About
“Almost Famous meets Harold and Maude”
I’m a visual storyteller inspired by the photography of Man Ray, Anton Corbijn , Mick Rock, Tim Walker and Lee Miller, the spirits of "Maude" Chardin (Harold and Maude), Bettie Boop and Patti Smith, and the hips of Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman.
Every image captured in my head and imagination now and in the future inspires my work.
Mission
“But now in my small, individual way” - “Maude" Chardin
I’m most interested in and inspired by literary photography and symbolic or environmental portraiture, the more outlandish the better.
I love creating the best possible reality and reject the use of AI or Photoshop to make images into something they are not; instead, I use live in-camera techniques, filters, prisms, planning and a lot of patience and good luck to capture real beauty.
Real People Matter, and always will.

Specialisms
Portraiture and adventurous, environmental shoots are my specialism. I love capturing people and their own unique place in the world.
Live music is however my first love and I've shot everyone from Peter Doherty to Pussy Riot. Check out my portfolio and special side A and B packages.
I'd love to continue creating imagery in human-centred ways, including headshots with a difference, small weddings, elopements and engagement shoots. I will always listen to your ideas and dreams.

Wellbeing & Ethos
I have lived experience of depression, anxiety, neurodiversity and chronic pain, my background is working class, and I believe in accessible Arts for all and the benefits of community, art, music, culture and play on wellbeing.
I am an LGBTQ+ ally and have worked with many friends across the community over the years. In recognition of all of my experiences, I offer discounted rates to mental health, LGBTQ+ and chronic ill-health charities.
I also offer a 10% discount to local bands, charity gigs and neighbouring businesses, and to all new clients on their first piece of commissioned work, because I believe in the importance of relationship-building over a creative lifetime.

Love, uniqueness, courage, freedom, community and authenticity are my core values.
I aim to reflect both kindness and courage in my life and work. I strive not to copy what everyone else is doing, use AI in my work or even follow trends or demand – simply because I believe in love, uniqueness and authenticity over money.
That said, like anyone working creatively, I am constantly inspired by both my peers and those working at the peak of their field.
